Hiring: Brewery Sales Representative

Guggman Haus is hiring for a Brewery Sales Representative with an energetic, detail-oriented and professional demeanor and a passion for partner-focused sales. This position will be responsible for both the development and growth of the self-distribution sales program at Guggman Haus Brewing Co., and the delivery of product to accounts as this program continues gets off the ground. 


  • Acquires new accounts and maintains current accounts while building and maintaining great relationships and rapport with retail partners

  • Meets the needs of accounts through taking sales orders, ensuring proper stock rotation, cleaning dedicated tap lines and suggesting proper products for their business model

  • Delivers product to buyers (restaurant/bars/etc) with specific, set delivery days each week 

  • Develops,  implements, and achieves annual sales and account goals

  • Works with Marketing and Sales Director to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to successfully meet above mentioned goals

  • Demonstrates passion for and knowledge of craft beer and the craft beer industry 

  • Ability to work self-directed and independent and also within a team environment

  • Demonstrates willingness to use, adapt and maintain clean account records within CRM for account management, record keeping and overall organization

  • Demonstrates knowledge and ability for high level organizational skills to plan and implement sales routes and delivery routes

  • Acts as brand ambassador, representing the brewery brand through great customer service and a partnership approach to sales

  • Plans and executes on and off premise promotions (such as tap takeovers) and represents Guggman Haus at various community events, festivals, markets etc.

  • Demonstrates initiation, organization, and impeccable communication skills 

  • Ensures all state and federal laws pertaining to the sale, merchandising and promotion of product are maintained

  • Performs administrative tasks pertaining as needed and assigned (expense reports, monthly work calendar, establishing distribution targets, invoicing, etc.)

  • Education and/or Experience -  3+ years in the craft beverage industry, 3+ years experience in a sales-oriented position

  • Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver packages up to 165 pounds, using appropriate techniques and tools

  • Travel: Travel is required; must have a valid, clean Indiana Driver’s License & record

  • Permit: Must posses an Indiana Servers Permit

  • Language Skills: Must demonstrate excellent oral, analytical, written, and communication skills

  • Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

  • Computer Skills - Intermediate personal computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the sales representative must be able to remain in stationary position, move as needed, and constantly position self to transport heavy objects, sometimes in tight spaces. They must regularly  push, pull, and/or move up to 55 pounds and maneuver packages up to 165 pounds, using appropriate techniques and tools. Must be able to ascend/descend stairs for keg deliveries. 



While performing the duties of this Job, the individual is exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually high depending on schedule that day. The individual must be able to work in an environment with frequent temperature changes.



Compensation based on experience. 

PTO: 10 days vacation
